Taco Salad




Ingredients

flour tortillas

1 lb. ground beef

1 tsp. minced onion
3/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. turmeric
8 oz. tomato sauce
4 oz. diced green chilies
16 oz. refried beans
shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes 


How To Make it :


Take the tortillas and place each one in an oven safe bowl. Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake the tortilla bowls in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until they hold their shape and are light golden brown. Remove the tortillas from the bowls and set aside.


Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain off an excess grease. Stir in the seasonings, tomato sauce, green chilies and beans. Cook for 2-3 minutes to warm the beans.


Put a couple of good spoonfuls of the filling in the bottom of the tortilla bowl, top with a little cheese and then a little more filling. Add more cheese, lettuce and tomatoes on top or whatever toppings you may
